LIMITED QUANTITIES REMAIN

Fruitful style with aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry and cherry with spicy and toasty oak notes. The darkest of all the red wines because of the thick skins and pigment of the grapes. One of the reasons Syrah is very drinkable when its young is that it is an earlier ripening grape, does not stand up to as much aging as Cabernet and therefore has fewer tannins.

Tasting Notes:

Bright purple‐hued garnet in color with huckleberry and smoky red fruit on the nose leading to lush, richly‐flavored juicy red fruit and wild blue huckleberries on the palate.

Production Notes:

Barrel aged for 11 months in French and American oak, 25% which were new barrels.

Food Pairing:

This finely‐balanced wine with full tannins and good acidity will pair extremely well with roast duck and other games birds and root vegetables.
