Medium red color. On the nose are aromas of Montmorency cherry and pomegranate. On the palate are flavors of red fruits, clove, nutmeg, and allspice. Moderate tannins lead to a long and spicy finish.
57% Red Willow Vineyard, 43% Oasis Vineyard
2010 was the first in a series of cooler than normal vintages in central Washington. Bloom, veraison and harvest all occurred about 2 to 3 weeks later than usual, giving wines moderate color and tannin, but elevated acidity.
Pair with foods such as Tri tip steak or other grilled red meat.
