Porphyry Red BlendOur newest addition to the Stone Cutter Series, Porphyry is made in a super-Tuscan style. The word porphyry originated from the Latin word for purple. 69% Sangiovese 31% Cabernet Sauvignon Medium-dark red in color. On the nose are hints of blackberries and plums with a hint of dill. A well-balanced wine with moderate acidity and tannins. The palate shows blackberries, lavender, violets, and clove. Medium to full-bodied with a pleasant finish.
