Medium purple-red in color. On the nose are hints of hibiscus flowers. Bright, fresh, and zippy in the mouth with flavors of red currant, rose petals, and potpourri.
Pair with Memphis-style barbecue beef or pork ribs with jalapeno-infused cornbread and tangy, rich, red chowder or spicy gumbo. Also pairs well with fruity cheeses such as Edam, Fontina, and Gjetost. This wine is great on its own or as an aperitif.
