Malbec

	Malbec A varietal originating primarily from the Bordeaux region of France, it is most often used as a blending varietal. Its deep rich color, flavor and lighter tannins lend themselves beautifully to blending with the bigger Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlots. More and more winemakers are making a single varietal from Malbec producing a wine of dark color spicy blackberry-herbal intensity and crisp acidity in a medium-weight body. Malbec is only available for purchase at Columbia Wine Shop and quantities are limited. Tasting Notes Dense garnet color with bright, sweet fruit on the nose.
